Hey there, I’m Elanie!
I'm a lifestyle and wedding photographer in Adelaide who loves meeting new people, chasing light and - unsurprisingly - taking photos!
I get so much joy from giving people the chance to see how beautiful they really are and believe that every wedding should be as distinctive as the couple at the centre of it all. My style of natural wedding photography uses a documentary cadence to tell the story of your day. Shooting in this way creates a sense of timelessness and allows beautifully candid moments to live forever as captured memories.
When you look back on your wedding photos 10, 20, even 30 years from now, what do you want to see? What kind of emotions do you want to come flooding back to you? Which memories do you want to relive?
More than anything else, I believe that your wedding day should be fun! To me, that means stress-free. In order to create a relaxed vibe, I want you to think of me as your dependable wingwoman and tireless cheerleader - the Robin to your Batman. Whenever you need me, I’ll be there, armed and ready with helpful advice, timeline assistance and vendor recommendations. On the day, I’ll fix your dress, check your bowtie, carry your bouquet, and pour you a glass of Champagne – all while taking epic photos of the two of you.

A little more about me...
My interest in photography began when my parents bought me a cheap yellow film camera. It was love at first shutter, but film was pretty expensive for a ten-year-old - so I only reserved rolls for special occasions. I took to borrowing my Dad’s camera instead, shooting everything I could lay my viewfinder on and giving my parents more than a few surprises on their visits to the developers!
On the rare occasion that I’m not shooting a beautiful couple like you, you’ll find me spending time at home with my husband Chris and our three daughters Chané, Caelan and Clara. We moved to Adelaide from South Africa in 2018 but my wedding photography journey began in 2010 when I started shooting ceremonies for friends and family...it quickly became a part-time passion and four years later it became my full-time jam! I’m a chatty, positive person by nature. I’m happiest when I’m creating and I do it all for my three beautiful girls.
