I’m Elanie — the photographer behind Davish Photography.

I’m an Adelaide-based wedding photographer who finds so much joy in capturing people as they truly are — the connection, the emotion, and the moments that might otherwise go unnoticed.

It’s never just about how your day looks, but how it feels.

You don’t need to know how to pose or what to do in front of the camera — that’s where I come in.

With a calm, guided approach, I’ll gently direct you when needed and step back when the moment speaks for itself.

Nothing is forced. Nothing feels staged. Just real connection, captured in a way that feels natural and effortless.

On your wedding day, I’m there to make sure you feel comfortable, present, and able to actually enjoy it all.

Adelaide based wedding photographer Elanie Engelbrecht, specialising in storytelling, natural wedding photography, and authentic moments.

Chosen by couples who want to feel comfortable, confident, and completely themselves.

My love for photography started young, with a simple film camera and a curiosity to capture everything around me. What began as a passion grew into something much bigger — something I now get to share with couples on one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

I moved to Adelaide from South Africa in 2018, and over the years, photography has grown into a full-time career built around connection, trust, and storytelling.

Outside of weddings, I’m a mum to three beautiful girls — and life is a mix of school runs, netball, chaos, and moments that remind me just how quickly time passes.

It’s a big part of why I care so deeply about what I do — because I know how important it is to hold onto what matters.

If this feels like the kind of experience you’ve been looking for, I’d love to hear about your day.

Let’s create something that feels like you.
