Some couples just feel at home in each other, and Ally & David are exactly that.

Their autumn wedding at Kingsford The Barossa was calm, elegant and full of warmth, with a sunset over the Barossa hills that felt like it was made just for them. Having photographed Ally's sister's wedding in 2025, coming back to celebrate with the family again honestly warmed my heart.

GETTING READY

The day started slowly and easily. I began with David and his crew, then made my way to Ally as the final touches came together. There's something so special about those quiet moments before everything begins: the nerves, the laughter, and the people closest to you all in one room.

A CEREMONY AT KINGSFORD THE BAROSSA

Ally & David said I do in the grounds of Kingsford as the afternoon light softened. Surrounded by their families and closest friends, it was full of emotion and so many smiles. The way these two look at each other says everything.

FAMILY, AND ALL THEIR PEOPLE

After the ceremony we gathered the families for photos, then the bridal party, before guests headed off to enjoy the afternoon. Being surrounded by people who love you that much is something you can see in every frame.

SUNSET OVER THE BAROSSA HILLS

We planned their portraits for right on sunset, and it paid off. As the sun dropped behind the Barossa hills and the sky turned soft pink and gold, Ally & David had a few quiet minutes just for the two of them. There was such an ease between them, completely relaxed and completely them.

A RECEPTION FULL OF PARTY ENERGY

Then it was time to celebrate. The reception at Kingsford glowed with candlelight, beautiful florals and heartfelt speeches. Once the first dance was done, the dance floor didn't stop, with a DJ, sax and bongos keeping the energy going well into the night.
